Edward has also performed industrial hygiene exposure assessments and audits as well as generating maps that included the sampling locations, material sampled and results. Edward has performed pulmonary fit testing and selected the necessary PPE required for the job.
An example of a good industrial hygiene outcome occurred when an employee complained to the regulating authority about the chemicals they were working with. They said they were being over exposed hazardous materials. A historic and current industrial hygiene sampling plan, and results, as well as the equipment preventive maintenance records were given to the regulator. It was determined that no further investigation was needed.
